Welcome Easter and Last Day to Sale-a-brate!

Happy Tuesday...and happy last day of March! Is is just me or has this month felt like it was 300 days long??? This social distancing thing sure is making for some long days and lots of confusion about what day of the week it is. Here I am posting again on a Tuesday instead of Monday for the second week in a row! It sure will be good to get back to a somewhat normal routine...whenever that may be!

Before I share today's cute project a reminder that today is the LAST DAY of Sale-a-bration. There are so many fun products available to earn free with a $60 order...double check your wishlist and make sure you've check them all off before it is too late. Sale-a-bration ordering ends tonight at 11:59 pm MT! This is also a good time to take advantage of the Coordination Product Release, which also goes away tonight at midnight. I'm using some of the adorable Pleased as Punch DSP, which is part of that promotion and will not be available after today.

Speaking of today's project...check out this little cutie...

Isn't that little bunny just the sweetest?? I stamped him in Basic Gray ink and then coloured him using my Light Smoky Slate and Light Petal Pink Blends. The little bumble bee is coloured using Dark So Saffron. I created the grass by die-cutting some Pleased as Punch DSP using the grass die from the Special Day dies...here's a closer look...

I used the same DSP for the vertical element on my card, layering it over a piece of Highland Heather card stock, embossed with the Basket Weave embossing folder. Doesn't that just remind you of an Easter basket? The sentiment , from the Welcome Easter stamp set, is stamped in Basic Gray ink. I added some punched flowers from the Pleased as Punch DSP (punched using the SAB Small Bloom Punch), embellished with some Glitter Enamel Dots in Granny Apple Green. The final touch is a cute little Polka Dot Tulle ribbon bow.

On the inside I added a Whisper White panel on which I stamped another sentiment from the Welcome Easter stamp set and some little flowers to echo the ones on the front.

Here's the link to my video in which I demonstrate this card and two others using the Welcome Easter stamp set...

Thanks for stopping by today...have a great week and don't forget to get your final Sale-a-bration order in today!

New Freebies and Timeless Tulips

Happy Tuesday! Did you miss me yesterday? We were busy getting sorted out around work and our new COVID19 normal around here, so I didn't get a chance to post. I hope you'll forgive me. Things certainly have changed an awful lot in a very short time around here. I hope that you are healthy and doing everything you can to stay home and safe.

There is some GOOD NEWS today...new Sale-a-bration freebies were just announced! There is only one week left in Sale-a-bration and Stampin' Up! has released several items from the Annual Catalogue to be earned as Sale-a-bration freebies! Check out the graphic below:

That Butterfly Duet Punch is an AWESOME one that I use a ton...if you don't already have one you will definitely want to take advantage of this offer! I'm also super excited to see one of my favourite Designer Series Papers included...Woven Threads! I'll definitely be scooping some of that up too!

Now, on to this week's featured product. With spring in the air (and on the calendar!) I thought I'd focus on my very favourite spring flowers and feature the Timeless Tulips bundle.

Timeless Tulips Bundle (Item #153793)

Now, today's project only uses the stamp set, but I will be demonstrating two additional projects in today's Live @ Five video that use the punch as well.

Check out this pretty, spring-y card...

I started with a Whisper White background panel embossed using the Basket Weave embossing folder. I added some Pacific Point gingham DSP from the Brights 6" x 6" pack as well as a cut little stitched scalloped border on the diagonal. (I honestly can't remember the last time I used Pacific Point on ANYTHING...and I have no idea why!)

I created the base for my wreath using the swirly label die from the Painted Labels dies, cutting one is Granny Apple Green and one in Whisper White. The sentiment, from the Timeless Tulips stamp set,  is stamped in Pacific Point ink.

To add the spray of tulips, I stamped the smallest tulip from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Melon Mambo ink on Flirty Flamingo card stock. I fussy-cut out the tulips and added a hint of Wink of Stella. I stamped some leaves on Granny Apple Green ink on card stock of the same shade and fussy-cut them as well. Then I added some die-cut sprigs from the Cherry Blossoms stamp set and punched Daffodil Delight sprigs.  I finished it off with a cute little Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon bow.

On the inside I  added a Whisper White panel on which I stamped more tulips and leaves in Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green respectively. The sentiment is from the SAB Tags in Bloom stamp set.

Here's a link to my video in which I demonstrate this card and two others using the Timeless Tulips bundle...

Thanks for stopping by today. Be well and stay safe in these crazy times!

Peaceful Poppies Fun Fold

Happy Monday! I hope you had a good weekend in spite of all of the craziness going on in the world right now. Here, we are hunkered down for the foreseeable future. All schools in our province are currently on an extended March Break for the next three weeks, so my son and are are planning to stay home and spend some quality time together. Unfortunately my husband's job doesn't allow him to work from home, so he is, for now, still heading out to work each day. We are being cautious, but not fearful; taking responsible action, but not panicking. I trust that you are doing the same.

One of the major upsides of social distancing is LOTS of time for stamping! Check out this surprisingly-easy fun fold I made using products from the Peaceful Poppies Suite...

I have to say, that when I first saw a sample by Mitosu on Instagram, I thought nope...too complicated! But then, on second look I realize it really isn't that complicated! It's just a double easel card with a twist...but boy does it create a WOW project! The best part is that it folds completely flat and fits into a standard envelope for mailing...

I used several products from the Peaceful Poppies Suite in the Jan-June Mini Catalogue for this one, including the both the Painted Poppies and Peaceful Moments bundles and that gorgeous Peaceful Poppies Designer Paper.

Here's the video where I demonstrate how to make this card and two others using the Peaceful Poppies Suite...

Thanks for stopping by today. Stay well, be safe and happy stamping!
