Now for a fun holiday project...

Don't you just love that little sparkly reindeer?? He is one of my all-time favourite holiday dies from the Santa's Sleight Thinlits. The background is a piece of Be Merry DSP which I adhered to a Cherry Cobbler card stock base. I layered 3" x 4" pieces of Garden Green and Whisper White card stock, embossing the white with the Softly Falling TIEF.

The sentiement is stamped in Basic Black ink and then die-cut using the Stitched Shapes framelits. I added some Garden Green pine boughs, die cut with the Christmas Staircase Thinlits and some gold mini sequin trim behind the die-cut label. As mentioned above, the reindeer is die-cut from gold glimmer paper.

On the inside I added a piece of Whisper White card stock on which I stamped the sentiments from the Santa's Sleigh stamp set in Basic Black and then the wreath and bow in Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler ink respectively.

This is a super-quick and easy card to put together if you are finding yourself rushed to get your cards made and in the mail this season!

Sleigh and Pines

I am so excited! Tonight is my third of six Christmas card buffets this season. I thought I would show you one of the projects that will be available to my guest this evening...

Isn't that sleigh yummy in copper? I love the contrast of the copper foil against the Early Espresso base.  Both were cut using the Santa's Sleigh thinlits. The background panel is a piece of Kraft card stock that I embossed using the Woodgrain TIEF. The pine branches were die-cut using the Pretty Pines thinlits from Old Olive and Garden Green card stock.

The sentiment is from the Santa's Sleigh stamp set and is stamped in Early Espresso ink on a strip of Kraft card stock. The only embellishments here are some copper metallic thread behind the sleigh and some Real Red stitched satin ribbon.

On the inside I added a Very Vanilla panel on which I stamped the sentiment is Early Espresso ink, the wreath in Old Olive and the little bitty bow in Real Red. All of the images are from the Santa's Sleigh stamp set.

Have a thrilling Thursday...one more day till the weekend!!

Santa's Sleigh Double Z-fold

Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a great start. As promised, I have another version of the double Z-fold card for you today...

This one folds closed to fit in a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" standard envelope. I used Smoky Slate card stock, embossed with the Softly Falling TIEF, for the base and then embossed some thick Whisper White card stock with the Seaside TIEF for my snow drifts. The sleigh is die-cut from silver foil sheets using the Santa's Sleigh Thinlits, and then I cut the overlay from Real Red card stock. I love the way the red pops against the neutral colour scheme.

The reindeer are heat embossed in silver on Basic Gray card stock and then die-cut using the Santa's Sleigh Thinlits. The trees in the background are also heat embossed in silver and then die-cut.

Both the sentiment on the front and on the inside panel are from the Santa's Sleigh stamp set.

Have a terrific Tuesday!
