Fan-folded Flower Easel Card

Tonight I am at my upline's for our monthly team meeting.  I am excited because two great gals I've met through Stampin' Up! are coming along with me to see what being an SU demonstrator is all about.  We always have a great time at our meeting, so I know these ladies will too!  As one of our make-n-takes, my upline has asked me to show everyone how to make these fan-folded flowers.  I have done a tutorial for them and for you too.  Click on the Tutorials tab at the top of this page to access it.  Here is the card I made using the flower from my tutorial:
Easel Card using fan-folded flower, as well as the You're a Gem and Silhouette Sentiments stamp sets.

This card was just so easy to put together.  I used Lap of Luxury DSP for the background and layered it on garden green and pretty in pink CS.  I kept the rest simple so that I could showcase the flower.  The little stamped flowers on the "thinking of you" sentiment are also from the Silhouette Sentiments set.  I just added a bit of rose red ink with my marker after inking the image in pretty in pink.  So easy, so pretty.  Can you tell I'm ready for spring?!?
