So, earlier today I promised I'd be back with some thoughts on the new Annual Catalogue from Stampin' Up! Now before you get excited, unless you are a demonstrator you don't get to see the new book for a couple of weeks yet. We got a sneak peek at it online today and I have to say I am in love!! The new layout is so user friendly...it is easy to find things and to see which products coordinate, making it super simple to create beautiful projects. The catty is smaller than in the past, making it less overwhelming for newbies, while still providing tons of great inspiration projects. I spent time today making my wishlist...the list where if money were no object, I would want. It is three, yes THREE pages long! I sure hope I get some good birthday cash for my big day next month! Hmm...I wonder if I could ask for a gift certificate for Mother's Day....
To provide a little more of a sneak peek at what you can expect to see, here is another project I did with one of the new hostess sets called Summer Afternoon...

If you like watercolouring, this set is for you! It has three lovely images that are quite large and perfect for colouring. Since this is a hostess-only set, you'll want to start planning your stampin' party...then call or email me to schedule it!
I love the added touches you add to your cards. The button and twine, the 'antique look', and of course the inside of the card... beautiful finishes!!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't resist this hostess set in the pre-order either Leena! I love it and love the paper you paired it with! And those buttons are LOVE-ly!
ReplyDeleteLike the title of your post, I think I'm in love too!
Excited to see this new package of DSP as well as the new catalogue. It appears there are lots of exciting things in store for us!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great image that is. Your card makes me want to be sitting on the swing with a good book and a cool breeze blowing!
