My Turn!

Today the project I designed for Craft Project Central debuts and I get to show it to you here!  The idea for this project has been "percolating" in my little brain for a while.  Last Christmas I received a Keurig coffeemaker to use at work…I am addicted!  I love those little K-cups and all the yummy flavours they come in!  (I think my favourite so far is "Cinnamon Pastry"...all the yum without the guilt!)  I designed this cute little caddy to hold 6 K-cups for gifting with Father's Day and end-of-year Teacher's gifts in mind...perfect for the men in your life.  Check it out...

Coffee anyone?  This is my project for my guest designer gig over at Craft Project Central

Close up of the card featuring the Morning Cup set...which is NOT retiring...YAY!!
So waddya think?  I want to do another version of this that is a bit more girlie and gift it to several fellow K-cup Addicts.  A couple of Max's teachers come immediately to mind!  If you want to make one of these yourself I have great news for you!  In case you missed it, I am giving away a free month's subscription to Craft Project Central to one of my lucky blog readers!  Simply comment on any (or every) post on this blog  between May 1st and 8th.  I will draw one winner and they will have the rest of the month to peruse this and many other fabulous projects.  If you aren't the lucky-type and don't win, you can still subscribe!  Subscriptions are very reasonable and you will get  tons of terrific inspiration.  If you are the type who needs live, hands-on instruction, I will be offering this project as a class in early June...stay tuned!

  5. So fun! I needed this today - I gave a friend some of the K-cups for her birthday and they were in the same dumb box they came in. I have been resistent to subscribe for these great tutorials but this is really fun and I can make one for my boss for Christmas. I did the take out coffee cup with the gift card inside this past year and boy was it a hit with all her friends. So, I definitely want to see the girlie one too! Now, can you tell us where you bought the cinnamon pastry flavored ones! You could also put the K-cups of tea and hot chocolate in a teachers one if you are unsure if they drink coffee only. Great project.
