Pretty Thanks

Happy Friday!  Even though I am on holidays, I still remember how happy I was to see Friday arrive each week.  The weekend is here and the weather where I am is simply perfect.  So looking forward to spending time outdoors with my family this weekend!
Before I get to today's project, I have some fantastic news!

Yup...the much-anticipated Watercolour Wishes Kit is now available for ordering! I am so excited to get my hands on this awesome kit and the fantabulous stamp set that comes with it!

Watercolor Wishes Card Kit (140406) $43.95

Now for today's project.  This is one that I created a while back for my new catalogue launch event using the new Circle of Spring stamp set.

Thank you card featuring the Circle of Spring stamp set and Greetings Thinlits.
I love that Stampin' Up came out with another stamp set that coordinates with the Wonderful Wreath Framelits...makes them so much more versatile! Here I heat embossed the wreath image from the Circle of Spring stamp set on vellum using white embossing powder and then die-cut the image using the Wonderful Wreath Framelits. I coloured the back side of the die-cut wreath using Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron  Stampin' Write Markers.  The wreath is adhered to the background panel of Whisper White card stock that I embossed using the Lovely Lace TIEF.

The sentiment is die-cut from silver foil card stock using the Greetings Thinlits.  I went a little overboard with embellishments on this one, using some Mint Macaron 1" Dotted Lace Trim, some Metallic white sequins and a Mint Macaron Blossom Accent. The entire card is built on a Blushing Bride card base.

Inside view with sentiment from the Cottage Greetings stamp set.
On the inside I kept it super simple, stamping just a sentiment from the Cottage Greetings stamp set in Mint Macaron ink.

I hope that wherever you are this weekend, that you have a fabulous, restful time in the company of those you love.  To my American friends...happy Fourth of July tomorrow!!
