Good Wishes Your Way

It's Tuesday...which means new weekly deals start today! Be sure to check them out in the right side-bar.

Today I have a project we'll be making at my Balloon Celebration Bundle class this week. It think this is my favourite one of the three cards...

Thinking of you card featuring the Balloon Celebration and Lovely Amazing You stamp sets.
This is, by far, the simplest card I've made in a while. No ribbon, no bling! Shocking, I know! I began with a strip of Whisper White card stock. I punched a 1" circle from a post-it note and adhered it to the panel. I then sponged it all over with Crushed Curry ink. I added some Pumpkin Pie, taking care not to cover all of the yellow. Next I added some Cherry Cobbler ink along the bottom edge. Finally I removed the Post-it note and sponged more Crushed Curry lightly all over the panel to blend the colours and tone down the stark white circle.

Using the large and small dandelion seed images from the Balloon Celebration stamp set, I stamped them across the panel from the lower left to the upper right corners using Basic Black ink. The final touch was a bit of gold Wink of Stella, which I spattered by banging the Wink of Stella brush on the table. I adhered the sponged panel to a piece of Basic Black card stock and then adhered it to a thick Whisper White card base. The sentiment, from the Lovely Amazing You stamp set, is also stamped in Basic Black ink.

On the inside I simply stamped the dandelion seeds again along the lower edge of the card. I omitted a sentiment to allow lots of space to write a special note of encouragement.

I can't wait to share this simple, yet effective card with my class participants this week!

Now, in case you missed it yesterday, here's an exciting announcement about an upcoming event:
