Christmas in July: Comfort and Joy

Happy Saturday! I hope you had a good week and have plans for some rest, relaxation and stamping this weekend!

It's time for another Tri-City Stampers Blog Hop and this month we are featuring Christmas in July. check out this quick and easy Christmas card I designed:

Can you guess where that background paper came from? No, I didn't create it myself and it is from a current DSP pack from the Annual Catalogue. Give up? It is the Delightful Daisy DSP and it is just perfect for a snowy holiday card! I simply added some snowflakes I die-cut using the Seasonal Layers Thinlits to complete my snowy scene.

The sentiment is from the Christmas Pines stamp set and is heat embossed in silver, die-cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits, and matted on a silver foil card stock square (cut with the Layering Squares Framelits). For extra shimmer I added some 3/8" Metallic Edged Ribbon in silver and some Silver Mini Sequin Trim. So quick, so easy, and perfect for mass-production!

On the inside I stamped the Whisper White card stock base using another sentiment from the Christmas Pines set and added some snowflakes from the Colorful Seasons stamp set using Tranquil Tide ink.

Now for more Christmas in July fun, be sure to visit Steph's and Sandy's blogs:

Have a fabulous weekend and be sure to stop by tomorrow for a new Sunday Stamps challenge!

    1. Thanks Susan! I love finding alternate uses for products...it makes them so much more versatile (and means I might actually use up all of the DSP I bought!) ;)
