Now, I'll admit, I wasn't crazy about that octopus at first...but now I think he's kinda cute! I inked him using Mint Macaron (have I mentioned how happy I am to see that colour back?), Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig. I used the coordinating Under the Sea Framelits to cut him out. I used the same set of dies to cut all of the other bits and pieces to create my under-sea scene. Here's a closer look...
The background is actually a piece of Tranquil Textures DSP (also part of the suite) that I embossed using the Seaside TIEF. I love the sense of motion that folder suggests. I think my favourite thing about this card is the little "pebbles" at the bottom of my scene...
These are the Tranquil Textures Sprinkles and they are AWESOME! They add amazing texture to this card and are a breeze to adhere using the Fine Tip Glue pen. Just squirt a blob of glue where you want your sprinkles to be, drop some sprinkles into the glue and let it sit until set. Let me tell you, that glue is STRONG...those babies aren't going anywhere!
On the inside of the card I added a Whisper White card stock panel and stamped more of the coral images from the Sea of Textures set, as well as parts of two of the sentiments from the set. I love combining bits and pieces of sentiments to create new ones!
I think my favourite thing about this suite is that it is all about texture. I love layering images and playing with different textures in my designs. I hope you're as excited about these new products as I am. Just a few more weeks until it will be available for order...or join my Stamping Symphony team and you could order it RIGHT NOW as part of your starter kit! Click HERE to learn more.
This suite and I have a wonderful future together...stay tuned for more from my new favourite suite!
Have a great week :)
