Stella (left) and Phoebe (right) are 8 week old sisters we adopted from our local shelter. They are just the sweetest little bundles of energy and are definitely making things interesting around here! I'm finding it next to impossible to get work done with these two around. They're either tearing up the house or crying for snuggles. Needless to say, I haven't had a ton of time to stamp, but I had to show you this pretty Christmas card I designed using the new Blended Seasons Bundle...
Instead of colouring the holly image, I heat embossed it in silver on Whisper White card stock...I love how elegant it looks. Then, using one of the label dies, I die-cut the label from the heat embossed image and then popped it up using dimensionals. I love that these label dies cut the stitched detail on both the label and the negative. It gives such a nice layered border effect.
I heat embossed the sentiment in silver on Night of Navy card stock and trimmed the ends using the Everyday Label punch. I die-cut some leaves and a flourish from silver foil and tucked them behind the label. The bow is also from the Stitched Seasons dies and is cut from Silver foil as well. The final touch was a few rhinestones that I coloured with my dark Night of Navy Stampin' Blends marker.
On the inside, I added a Whisper White panel on which I stamped the holly image using Smokey Slate ink and the sentiment using Night of Navy.
