Alrighty...now let's get to a project! This week I am all about the adorable Whale of a Time Suite. I have to admit I wasn't too sure about this suite at first, but having spend the better part of a week playing with it, I am happy to admit I was SO wrong about my first impression! I will be featuring it all week on my social media and in my videos. Here is one of the projects from today's Live @ Five....

How cute is that little turtle?? I decided to put him in a shaker dome fishbowl, adding some Whale of a Time Sequins and Flowers for Every Season Gems for him to swim in. Here's a closer look...

In addition to the gorgeous Seabed 3D Embossing Folder, I also pulled in some dies from the Smooth Sailing set to cut my seaweed and rope. I cut the seaweed from some Whale of a Time DSP...I love the texture it adds to the die-cuts. The background in my fishbowl is also DSP from the Whale of a Time pack. My little turtle was fussy-cut from another pattern in that pack (are you seeing just how fabulous that DSP is??).

On the inside I added a Whisper White layer and stamped some little fishes in Balmy Blue in and a sentiment in Night of Navy. I love the punny sentiments in this set!

I hope you'll join me live today at 5:00 pm ET for the complete how-to on this card and two others using this fantastic suite of products in my Live @ Five video over on Facebook. If you miss the live broadcast you can catch the replay on my YouTube Channel shortly afterwards.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a great week...and Happy Canada Day to my Canadian friends!

Way to Goat

Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a great start. This is my last week of distance teaching before summer and I couldn't be more ready to step AWAY from the computer for a while! I definitely did not sign up to teach band class online...give me a room full of noisy teenagers any day! I am SO looking forward to a couple of months of focusing on my fun job.

Speaking of fun, have you seen the new Way to Goat stamp set in the 2020/21 Annual Catalogue? I absolutely love it...

I couldn't resist making a fun birthday card...

I wanted this one to be girlie, so I grabbed some Magenta Madness card stock and embossed it with the Absolutely Argyle embossing folder. I am loving the vibrant shade of this new In-Color. The sentiment label and detailed layer behind it are die-cut using the Ornate Layers dies. The detailed layer is cut from the new Rainbow Glimmer Paper...soooooo yummy!!

I stamped the sentiment in black in on the die-cut Whisper White label. That cute little goat is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, coloured using Smoky Slate and Ivory Stampin' Blends, and then fussy cut. I popped him up with a couple of dimensionals when adhering him to the label. I added some Organdy Glitter ribbon for some additional sparkle.

On the inside I kept it simple by stamping part of one of the sentiment sets in black ink.

I'll be demonstrating this card and two others using this fun set in today's Tuesday Live @ Five video over on my Facebook page. I hope you'll tune it, but if you miss the live broadcast you can catch the replay over on my YouTube channel shortly afterwards.

Thanks for stopping by today...have a spectacular week!

Celebrate the Many Mates Bundle

Happy Tuesday! I know it feels like we just chatted...because we did! You're getting two days in a row this week, thanks to our monthly Stamping Symphony blog hop, which I posted about yesterday. Today, I want to give you a sneak peek at one of the projects we'll be making in today's Tuesday Live @ Five video over on my Facebook page.
This week I am all about the Many Mates Bundle. Not only does the stamp set have TONS of great sentiments for just about any occasion, the dies are absolutely GORGEOUS! You had a peek at them on yesterday's colourful projects, but here there are on a more masculine design...

The beauty of these dies is that they can do ALL of the work on your project. Here, I've die-cut them from one of the woodgrain patterns in the In Good Taste DSP pack and layered them over another pattern from the pack that I embossed with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder. Here's a closer look at all that yummy texture...

The sentiment is actually two sentiments from the Many Mates stamp set stamped in Misty Moonlight and Early Espresso inks on a Whisper White label die-cut using the Ornate Frames dies. I added a couple of die-cut feathers in Champagne Foil and Misty Moonlight card stock and some twine from the Flowers for Every Season ribbon Combo pack.

On the inside, I added a Whisper White panel and the rest of the die-cut piece from the front of the card. I stamped another sentiment from the Many Mates set in Misty Moonlight.

I hope you'll join me for my live video broadcast this afternoon at 5 pm ET, but if you miss me you can catch the replay shortly afterwards on my YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for stopping by today...I hope you have a fabulous week!
