World of Good

Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. Here we are in the midst of a kitchen makeover, so my house closely resembles a disaster zone right now! Complicating matters is the fact that my husband, who had been laid off since mid-March, was called back to work this week (YAY!), so progress as virtually ground to a halt! The only upside in all of it is that, because I basically don't have a kitchen at the moment, I can't cook (woohoo!!)...hello take-out!

But you didn't come here to listen to my DIY home reno woes...you came for a project. This week I am all about the World of Good suite. This is one that I immediately fell in love with, not only because it is perfect for masculine cards (I live in a house full of men!), but it is also perfect for the travellers in my life.

Here's a card I made using products from the suite and another new-favourite die set, Many Medallions...

I absolute LOVE the Designer Paper in this suite! The map images are fantastic and they work perfectly for so many occasions. I designed this card as a graduation or retirement theme...it really works for both! I used two new In-Colors in my colour scheme: Cinnamon Cider and Misty Moonlight...they work so well together! I also am absolutely smitten with the new Brass Foil sheets...soooo shiny!

I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful World stamp set in Early Espresso ink and added the compass image in Misty Moonlight, stamped off for a faded look. The label is die-cut from Very Vanilla card stock using my new-favourite Tasteful Labels dies. That gorgeous brass foil horizontal element is from the Many Medallions dies...it makes the perfect alternative to ribbon on a masculine card.

On the inside I added a Very Vanilla panel on which I stamped more images and a sentiment from the Beautiful World stamp set.

I'll be demonstrating this card and two others using this suite in today's Live @ Five video over on my Facebook page. I hope you'll join me, but if you miss the live broadcast, you can catch the replay on my YouTube channel shortly afterwards.

Thanks for stopping by this week...have a fabulous day!
