Pretty Pumpkins Fun Fold and a Blog Hop

It's the middle of the month...September is just FLYING by! That means it is time for another Stamping Symphony Blog Hop!

This month we are all about autumn...my VERY FAVOURITE kind of cards to make! There are so many beautiful fall-themed products in our catalogues this year...I have have a BLAST playing with them all! This week I am all about the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle from the August-December Mini and I thought I would share a fun fold card I demonstrated in my Facebook Live last night...

I love this pop-up fun fold because it is an easy wow. No tricky measurements or scoring and quick and easy to put together. I used the Beauty of the Earth DSP pack from the Annual Catalogue on this project...it is PERFECT for fall and I love the way it coordinates with so many of the products in the Mini.

My larger die-cut pumpkin is cut from gold foil card stock and then layered on a scrap of Early Espresso. I love the way the dark colour makes the gold pop and highlights the beautiful detail on the die-cut. The smaller pumpkin is heat embossed in gold on Cinnamon Cider card stock...such a great combination for fall. I used the Beautiful Leaves dies to cut the greenery behind my pumpkins...more on that set next week ;) The sentiment is also heat embossed in gold and die-cut using the Stitched Rectangles dies.

On the back of the card is a Basic White panel with room to write a message. The extra layer is an important one because it adds just enough counterweight to make this fun pop-up card stand securely.

As I mentioned earlier, I demonstrated this card in this week's Facebook Live @ Five. You can catch the replay below:

Be sure to hop on over to the other blogs in our hop for more autumn inspiration!

Thanks so much for stopping by today...have a spectacular week!
