Happy Sunday...yep...Sunday! It's the 15th of the month which means it is Stamping Symphony Blog Hop time! Now I'm currently taking two weeks off from all things school and business-related, but before I left I made this cute card to share with you today...
I just can't get enough of the adorable critters in the Penguin Playmates DSP. I instantly fell in love with the polar bear especially...he's so stinkin' cute! I knew this guy with his outstretched arms would be perfect popping out of a pocket on this triangle pocket easel card. I mean seriously....
Does it get any cuter?? I fussy cut the bear from the DSP and then used a different pattern as my background. I thought the Misty Moonlight stripes on the pocket worked perfectly with his striped scarf. The sentiment is from the Encircled in Warmth stamp set and is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on the same DSP I used for my background. The snowflakes are die-cut from the leftover negative from the Wonderful Snowflakes. That iridescent paper is fabulous and there's plenty left to cut lots of wee snowflakes. I used the So Many Snowflakes dies to cut mine.
The card opens and the little polar bear stands up when the easel is in place. I omitted a sentiment on the inside panel to allow space to write a special message, but you could easily replace the card stock with a small post-it note pad instead. How cute would this guy be standing on your desk all winter?
Now, I had intended to do a tutorial video for this card, but ran out of time before I had to leave to head to the lake. Never fear...I will record one when I get back...this guy is one you HAVE to try! Stay tuned for the tutorial late next week.
In the meantime, check out the rest of the blogs in our hop for more Sale-a-bration inspiration!

I'm taking the next two weeks off to recharge before another year of pandemic teaching. I'll be back August 31st...see you then!
