Happy Spring! With the official arrival of the new season and my first robin sighting of 2023, I am celebrating with the fabulous Nested Friends bundle. This bundle is one that I originally passed over in the January-April Mini, but then took another look at after seeing some cute samples. So, wouldn't you know I ordered it and I LOVE IT!
Check out these projects I made with it...
The last three are ones that I demonstrated in this week's Facebook Live video. You can catch the replay on my YouTube channel. Measurements for each card are included in the video description for easy one-stop inspiration!
Thanks so much for stopping by this week...happy Spring!
Happy last full day of winter!! Although it sure doesn't feel like it here in southern Ontario, the calendar says springs begins tomorrow! Now if we could just get the weather to read the calendar we can get on with the sunshine, warm temperatures and spring flowers!
To help get us into the springtime mindset, I've been featuring the Rain or Shine suite all week long and I am absolutely LOVING the adorable little characters and their rainy-day shenanigans. Check out this fabulous suite...
I had such fun designing these projects...
The final three projects are the ones I demonstrated in this week's Facebook Tuesday Live @ Five video. You can catch the replay by clicking the image below. If you'd like to recreate any of the projects, all of the measurements are in the video description on my YouTube channel. I have to say, making the sweet cards made the cold, snowy weather we've had all week seem not quite so bad!
Thanks for checking in...have a spectacular week...and happy spring!
Well hello there! It's been a minute, hasn't it?! How are you??
For nearly a year I have been struggling with how to effectively manage this blog along with my other social media channels. I considered archiving it, as I just don't seem to have the time to manage it all. But this little corner of cyberspace has been an important one in the growth of my business over the years and it seemed like a shame to let it go after nearly 13 years. So, I am going to attempt to do a week-in-review every Sunday that includes all of the samples I shared in my weekly Facebook Live, along with link to the replay on my YouTube channel. This way, I'll be able to keep fresh content coming here for those who prefer to follow a blog rather than other social media platforms, without needing extra samples to share. So...here we go...
This week's product focus was the Share A Milkshake bundle from the January-April Mini Catalogue...
This bundle is SO MUCH FUN to play with...and was JUST what I needed to put me in a summer frame-of-mind during a miserable winter weather week here in Ontario. Check out these sweet projects...
Now, if those don't make you think of frosty summer treats, I don't know what will! I demonstrated all three of these cute cards in my Facebook Live this week. The video description includes all of the measurements and colours used for each card, so it is a one-stop inspiration stop. You can catch the replay on my YouTube channel below:
If you're still checking in after so much inconsistency on my part, THANK YOU! I do SO appreciate your loyalty! Here's hoping I can reward it with these weekly posts!
Today is the 15th of the month already, which means it is time for another Stamping Symphony Blog Hop! This month we are celebrating Sale-a-bration, so I couldn't resist creating another pretty card using two of my favourite Sale-a-bra-tion freebies...check it out...
I actually used TWO Sale-a-bration items on this card...the sentiment is from the Sending Support stamp set and the Designer Paper is from the Favoured Flowers pack. Now, I have to be honest and admit that I REALLY didn't like this Designer Paper when I first saw it in the Sale-a-bration brochure. I should have known better, based on past experience, but I just felt like the paper was too dark and busy. Wow, how wrong I was! This paper is utterly gorgeous! Not only are the floral images stunningly details and, in some cases, coordinating with the Fragrant Flowers dies, but the reverse sides of each page includes beautiful geometric patterns that act as the perfect backdrops for the florals on the front. Paired with the Sending Support Stamp set, you've got limitless possibilities for beautiful, heartfelt projects. Here's a closer look at the sentiment label...
What I love about the Sending Support stamp set is that it includes a selection of sentiments that we don't have in any other set and say the words we sometimes have trouble finding during difficult periods in our lives or those of the ones we care about. It is a set that I will keep long after this round of Sale-a-bration ends for those moments when I'm at a loss for what to say. Here is the inside...
I added a partial fussy-cut flower from the edge of a sheet of the Designer Paper...don't let those partial images go to waste!
If you missed my Facebook live this week, I showcased more ideas with this Designer Paper and the coordinating Fragrant Flowers bundle. Check it out below:
Now, before I sign off for today, let me remind you to check out the other hoppers this month for more Sale-a-bration inspiration:
