Ahhhh...Friday!

Happy Friday!  I'm sure you're as happy to see it arrive as I am!
Last night I held a product-based class where I featured the Watercolor Wings stamp set and coordinating Bold Butterfly Frameilts.  Designing the projects for that event inspired me to play with even more ideas for this awesome bundle of products.  I did some research (on Pinterest!) and found a video by Dawn Olchefske on how to make a tunnel card.  Here is my CASE of her project:

Any-occasion tunnel card featuring the Watercolor Wings Bundle.

Now, the front view isn't all that exciting...but check out the inside:

Cool, huh? Here's a better shot of the middle...

I had seen other versions of these cards before but had never really tried to make one and was surprised at just how easy it was! I used thick Whisper White card stock for the card base and regular Whisper White card stock for the front panel and the inside of the card. The front panel of the card was partially embossed using the Fluttering TIEF, leaving a portion at the bottom smooth for stamping.  The butterfly was stamped in Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral and Watermelon Wonder inks and them die cut using the Bold Butterfly Framelits.  I used Watermelon Wonder Dotted Lace Trim, some silver metallic thread and a few rhinestones by way of embellishment. The sentiment is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

For the inside, the butterflies were stamped using the same shades of ink as for the front.  I used Calypso Coral ink to stamp the border along the bottom.

Be sure to stop by on Sunday for a new challenge from Sunday stamps...till then have a fabulous weekend!
