12 Days of Christmas in July Day 2

Welcome to Christmas in July! For the rest of the month I'll be featuring holiday-themed projects to help get your festive mojo working and get a head start on your holiday cards and projects this year.

Today's card will be featured at my upcoming Christmas in July Stamp-a-Stack next week:

I began by embossing the Kraft card stock background panel using the new Holly TIEF...LOVE it! I added some of the new This Christmas Specialty DSP...this stuff is just yummy! Lighter-weight than our regular DSP and you get 24 sheets in a pack!! Perfect for mass-producing holiday cards! The trees are die-cut using the Perfect Pines Framelits. The sheet music pattern is also from the This Christmas DSP pack. The Kraft tree is stamped using the Peaceful Pines stamp set, heat embossed in copper and then die-cut. The Garden Green tree is also die-cut using the Perfect Pines Framelits.

The sentiment is done with the Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set and coordinating Christmas Greetings Thinlits. The word jolly is die-cut from Real Red card stock, while the stamped words are done in Real Red ink. The only embellishments on this card are some burlap ribbon, copper metallic thread and a rhinestone. Oh, and that cute little copper accent on the burlap ribbon? That's a White Perfect Accent embellishment that I heat embossed in copper...cool, huh?

I kept the inside simple with a stamped tree from the Peaceful Pines set in Garden Green ink.

I am away in Virginia this weekend for part two of our Holiday Head Start Demonstrator Training Event. I'll keep posting while I'm gone, so be sure to stop by tomorrow for more holiday inspiration.
