Beautiful Bouquet

Happy Sunday...and happy Father's Day to all of the dads out there! Today marks the start of a new colour challenge over at Sunday Stamps and it is a perfectly summer one!

There are so many possibilites for this yummy palette, but I chose to break in my new Beautiful Bouquet bundle. I've been dying to take these new products for a spin and this was the perfect opportunity. Here is what I came up with...

Isn't that a pretty bouquet? Here's a closer look...

I used Flirty Flamingo and Calypso Coral for the flowers and Wild Wasabi and Pear Pizzazz for the greenery. I was so easy to build this bouquet and involved NO STAMPING! I added a hint of shimmer with some clear Wink of Stella on the Flirty Flamingo flowers. The background watercolour wash was done on watercolour paper using my Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz ink pads with an aquapainter. That cute little tag was stamped using the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and die-cut using the Bouquet Bunch framelits.

I added some Linen thread to the tag and some yummy Calypso Coral ombre ribbon to the bouquet. The background layer on my card is done using the Pinewood Planks Dynamic TIEF...I used Sahara Sand for both the embossed panel and the card base. I added a touch of whimsy with a little bit of a Delicate White Doily peeking out from behind the focal image.

On the inside I added a Whisper White panel on which I stamped the sentiment in Sahara Sand ink and the flowers in Wild Wasabi and Calypsot Coral. All images are from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.

This colour combo is positively yummy! Give it a try and share your project with us at Sunday Stamps this week...we'd love to see what you create!

Have a super Sunday!
