12 Days of Christmas in July Day 8

Can you believe July is nearly over? Where has this month gone?? I want to slow time down and enjoy my summer holidays...they are flying by too quickly!
Today I have another holiday project for you. This is one that I CASE'd from Leanne Pugliese, as it was chosen from Pinterest by the host of a private event I am doing next week. I had to make a few adjustments to allow for mass-production...

Isn't that little reindeer cute? I know you've seen him before on a project I showed you last week, but I just can't get enough of him! Here I used some A Little Foxy DSP for the background, matted on Watermelon Wonder card stock and then mounted on a Pool Part card base. The centre panel is Whisper White card stock, embossed with the Softly Falling TIEF and, again, matted on Watermelon Wonder.

The tree is die-cut using the Perfect Pines Framelits from Pool Party card stock. I sponged on a hint of Whisper White Craft ink around the edges to give it a frosted look. The little reindeer, from the Foxy Friends stamp set, is stamped in Smoky Slate ink and punched with the Fox Builder punch. The little nose is punch from scrap Watermelon Wonder card stock. The die-cut sentiment is done using the Christmas Greetings Thinlits from Watermelon Wonder card stock. The stamped sentiment is from the Holly Jolly Greeting set and is stamped in Whisper White Craft ink on Watermelon Wonder card stock. The only hint of embellishment here is the little silver glimmer punched star.

On the inside I added a panel of Whisper White card stock on which I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Pines set in Basic Gray and added a few little leaves from the Foxy Friends set in Pool Party ink.

I love the non-traditional colours on this card...so fresh and fun!

12 Days of Christmas in July Day 5

Happy Monday! I hope you had a good weekend. I spent 11 hours driving yesterday, but made it home from Virginia safe and sound. It was actually a really beautiful drive and I was blessed by the gorgeous mountains and Susquehanna River as I drove north. My family were waiting AND I came home to a clean house...my hubby ROCKS! I am SO ready for some downtime this week.
Today I have another project to get you thinking about your Christmas crafting. The new Holiday Catalogue goes live in early September, but we demonstrators get to see it this week....and then we get to preorder starting next Monday...can't wait! In the meantime, there are lots of Christmas products in the Annual Catalogue to get you going on your holiday crafting. Do you realize that 5 months from today is Christmas Day?!? It's time to start thinking about it...I actually bought my first few gifts for this year last Friday :)
Here a cute card that we'll be making at my Christmas in July Stamp-a-Stack this week...

How cute is that li'l reindeer?? I stamped him using the new Foxy Friends stamp set and Smoky Slate and Basic Gray inks. His little red nose is punched from Real Red card stock using the Fox Builder punch. So stinkin' sweet! The stamped image is die-cut using the Layering Ovals stamp set, as is the Real Red scalloped oval mat behind it.

The Whisper White background panel is embossed using the Softly Falling TIEF. I layered a piece of Cucumber Crush card stock that I die-cut with the Outdoor Adventure Framelits. Just a note, that the tree die does not cut the full length of the card stock...I used paper snips to free hand the rest :)
On the die cut piece I stamped the word WISHES, from the Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set, in Basic Gray ink. I added a Real Red die-cut "merry" using the Christmas Greetings thinits. The only embellishment is some silver 1/4" silver natural ribbon.

On the inside I added a Whisper White panel on which I stamped a sentiment from the Peaceful Pines set in Basic Gray and some branches from Foxy Friends using Cucumber Crush ink. The final touch was a little punched heart.

I hope you're enjoying this series of Christmas-themed projects...tomorrow will mark the half-way point! See you then :)

Nuts About You

Happy Wednesday!  Here in Canada it feels like a Thursday, as tomorrow is the last day of the work week with the Canada Day holiday on Friday. Even better for me, tomorrow marks my last day of work for the school year...wahooo!!! I am SO ready to focus on just one job for a while :)

Today I have a cute project I designed for my Little Foxy Suite class this evening...

One of the many fabulous features of the Fox Builder punch and coordinating stamp set is that one can create so many different little critters. Here I've done a sweet little squirrel using Crumb Cake ink. Aren't his little paws adorable? I stamped those in Early Espresso. He is sitting on a stump, which is also part of the Foxy Friends stamp set. I used the Layering Circles Framelits to die cut the Kraft and Real Red scallop circles. The little hearts are punched using the Confetti Hearts punch.

I used the Woodgrain TIEF on the Kraft background panel and added some Burlap Ribbon for additional texture. The sentiment is part of the Acorny Thank You stamp set and is stamped in Crumb Cake ink and punched with the coordinating Acorn Builder punch.

On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from the Sunburst Saying stamp set in Crumb Cake ink and added one more punched Real Red heart. Such a sweet card for someone special!
