Flurry of Christmas Cards

Happy Hump Day!  It's already Wednesday :) The best thing about a long weekend is the short work-week that follows it! I spent some time on the weekend working on projects for my November classes and events. This is one I designed for an upcoming Christmas Card buffet:

Christmas card featuring the Flurry of Wishes stamp set
I absolutely love the Flurry of Wishes stamp set.  The snowflake images are beautiful and the fact that they have coordinating punches makes them even better! Did you know that this set is available in a bundle with the coordinating Snow Flurry punch for a 15% discount? It also coordinates with the Flower Medallion punch in the Annual Catalouge.  Can you see why I love it so much??

To create this card I stamped the snowflake images several times on Pool Party card stock using ink of the same colour. I then heat embossed the medium and two small snowflakes in white on Vellum. I used the Flower Medallion and Snow Flurry punches to punch them out.

The sentiment is also from the Flurry of Wishes set and is stamped in Smoky Slate ink and then die-cut using the Lots of Labels Framelits. I added lots of sparkle with some silver metallic thread, rhinestones and metallic white sequins. The beautiful silver embellishment is long-retired, but the new Winter Wonderland Embellishments or Iced Rhinestones would also work well. The whole card is built on a Smoky Slate card base.

On the inside I stamped more snowflakes in Pool Party ink, as well as a sentiment from the Oh, What Fun stamp set in Smoky Slate ink.

I am thrilled with the way this project evolved...it looks nothing like what I had originally pictured in my mind when I started.  Gotta love the creative process!!

Here is your supply list of all of the products I used to create this card:
