Delightful Doilies

Happy Monday! Can you believe it's already the last Monday of February? It sure is a blustery one here in Southern Ontario! We've been under a wind warning since early Sunday and it is still howling! I shudder to think how many shingles we'll lose off our roof by the time this is all over. I have to say I will be SO glad when this winter is finally over...it's been brutal weather-wise!

I kept busy in my studio this weekend prepping for my Occasions Card Buffet coming up this week. I finally had a chance to ink up my Dear Doily stamp set and quickly fell in love! So much so that I've made it my Product of the Week this week!

Check out this sweet wedding/anniversary card I made...

I used a piece of Painted Seasons DSP (STILL loving that stuff!) and stamped directly on it with several images from the Dear Doily stamp set. I love stamping on DSP...it adds so much additional texture and colour. My colour scheme was Sahara Sand, Pool Party, Flirty Flamingo and Whisper White. I love this combo...so soft and delicate.

The sentiment is from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set from the Annual Catalogue...I often forget that set has such beautiful sentiments and lovely fonts. I also pulled out some Powder Pink ruffled ribbon...more Annual Catty goodness. See that pretty white die-cut peeking out from behind the sentiment? I cut it using the Doily Builder Thinlits...they are sooooo pretty!

On the inside I added a Whisper White panel on which I stamped more doily images and another sentiment from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set. I'll be featuring this card and two others in my Tuesday Live @ Five video this week over on Facebook. If you miss the live broadcast you can check it out here by clicking the Video Tutorials tab at the top of this page.

Before I go, just a reminder that tomorrow is the deadline to place your order for my Happy Tails Online Class. You can check out all of the details HERE.

Have a great week...thanks for stopping by!
