I couldn't resist playing with my punches last weekend to design some fun punch art to mark St. Paddy's day this year. Check out this li'l cutie...
Is he not the sweetest?? I literally giggled out loud as I was making him. My hubby had to come and see what shenanigans I was up to and agreed this little guy is definitely giggle-worthy. Here are the pieces I used to put him together. There is a link to my YouTube video that shows exactly how he comes together at the bottom of this post.
As for the rest of the card, I used a Granny Apple Green card base and a background of Basic White card stock, which I die-cut using the spatter die from the Brilliant Wings dies. I then layered it on a mat of Brass Foil, which gives the impression of a shower of gold coins raining down on my lucky leprechaun. The DSP I used is from the Brights 6"x 6" stack. I added a strip of Basic Black card stock and threaded it through a ribbon slide to mimic the buckle on the leprechaun's hat. The sentiment and shamrock stamp are both from the Oval Occasions bundle. I stamped them on a die-cut oval, cut using the Stitched Shapes dies.
As promised, here is my video tutorial for this little guy...
He is a cutie! How creative you are! TFS
