Happy last day of August! I'm back from my two-week-long sabbatical and have to say it was SO good to take time away to recharge before the craziness of the school year starts up again tomorrow. I am refreshed and raring to go with lots of fall-inspired projects over the coming weeks. This week I am all about the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle from the Holiday Mini catalogue.
As much as I love the rich deep regal tones of fall, there is something about leaves in mixed metallics that is so clean and elegant. Here, I've embossed my Very Vanilla background panel using the Timber embossing folder and then stamped the larger spatter stamp from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set in Crumb Cake ink. I added some beautiful die-cut leaves, cut from the Brushed Metallic foil sheets. The sentiment is from the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set and is heat embossed in gold and then punched using the Label me Lovely punch.
I added some Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots, again, mixing up the metals to coordinate with the leaves.
