All That You Are

Happy Monday! I hope you had a good weekend. Things here were decidedly calmer than last weekend. I even got to take Saturday afternoon/evening off! We had a great family evening playing cards and hanging out together. I so treasure those moments, as they are few and far between.
Last week, as I was pulling all of the retiring stamp sets from my stash, I realized that there was one set from the Occasions catalogue that I had shown no love at all! So, I've decided to remedy that by making it my featured product this week!

This stamp set is found right inside the front cover of the Occasions catalogue and it was the first one I fell in love with back in November when I first opened the catty. It is the perfect image for colouring...nice bold lines and large images. However, for my share today I wanted to use it in a different way. Check this out...

I am loving the look of navy and copper lately! Last week on Instagram I shared a card I made using the Follow Your Dreams bundle that was in Night of Navy and copper foil. Today I swapped out the Night of Navy for some Blueberry Bushel and I love the look of it! The stamped floral image from the All That You Are stamp set is heat embossed in copper and it just pops right off the page. I loved the look of it so much I almost didn't want to cover one bit of it! But then I remembered how uh-mazing the copper foil looks when embossed using the Subtle embossing folder. It was the PERFECT accent on this card!

I added some extra shine with some Very Vanilla and Copper Tea Room ribbon and a simple sentiment punched with the Tailored Tag punch.  On the inside I added a Very Vanilla card stock panel and stamped the floral image in the lower right corner using Blueberry Bushel ink.

I'll be demonstrating this card and two others in tomorrow's Tuesday Live @ Five video over on my Facebook page. You can check it out there or, later in the week on the Video Tutorials tab at the top of this page.

Now, don't forget that retiring stamp sets availability is only guaranteed until mid-May, so you'll want to be sure and grab this one before then! You can click the image in the Product List below and it will take you straight to my online store :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today...I hope you have a spectacular week!

Follow Your Dreams

Happy...er...Tuesday? I know, I know, I missed posting yesterday, but I have a good reason. I was lost in tax prep purgatory all day on Monday...and this is after an extremely busy weekend hosting my Spring Fling Creative Escape. Feel sorry for me yet? ;)
Seriously, though, I don't know where the weekend went! It was a whirlwind with a few hours of family time thrown in on Easter Sunday. Whew! I did manage to squeeze in time on Monday evening to design the projects for this week's Live @ Five video and I have one to share with you. Check it out...

I am featuring the Follow Your Dreams bundle this week. It is one of those items that I ordered early on in the catalogue year, played with a little and then didn't give nearly enough love. And now it is retiring in June! Noooo! I truly love this bundle for so many reasons, not the least of which is the fabulous dream catcher die-cut! On this card I've layered an Early Espresso dream catcher over a Crushed Curry circle, reminiscent of the sun, peeking out from behind a Jack Pine tree. This card makes me long for lazy summer evenings at the lake! I can't wait for August!!

I used the Gallery Grunge stamp set in Soft Suede ink to add the textured background (thankfully that one is sticking around in the new catalogue!) and added the die-cut border with the Delicate Lace dies. I used the Tailored Tag punch to punched out the sentiment, which is stamped in Early Espresso ink.

On the inside I added a Very Vanilla card stock panel on which I stamped the Gallery Grunge background image again (stamped off in Soft Suede) and a pine tree in Early Espresso. I added another sentiment from the Follow Your Dreams stamp set.

I'll be demonstrating this card in today's Live @ Five video over on my Facebook page. I hope you'll stop by and check it out. I have two other lovelies in store as well! In the meantime, have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by.

Delightful Dandelion Wishes and a Blog Hop

Happy Monday! Can you believe it is already the 15th? We're halfway through April! Time is speeding by and before we know it the new Annual Catalogue will be here. Today is the day we demonstrators get our first look at the new catalogue...I can't wait to start ordering in May! Did you know that as a member of my Stamping Symphony you get to order a full month before the catalogue goes live? That is a serious perk of demonstrator life! If you'd like to get your hands on new product early too, check out the Join my Stamping Symphony tab above.

Speaking of my Stamping Symphony, today is our monthly blog hop!

On the 15th of each month, several members of my team get together to showcase projects on a certain theme. This month we are all about spring! Now I don't know what says spring more than dandelions. Those little yellow blossoms will soon be springing up all over my yard! I decided to make the Dandelion Wishes stamp set my product of the week this week.

Check out this colourful card I made, inspired by Sandi MacIver...

Now, are those two colours meant for each other, or what? I used Coastal Cabana and Gorgeous Grape...I so love them together!

I used the emboss resist technique, embossing the dandelion images in white before sponging on that gorgeous colour. I'll be demonstrating this card, along with two others in tomorrow's Tuesday Live @ Five video over on my Facebook page. Be sure to check it out or find it on the Video Tutorials tab above later in the week.

Here's a closer look at that beautiful colour...

The sentiment I used here is from the Humming Along stamp set. While I love the sentiments in the Dandelion Wishes set, I really need more thank you card, hence my choice.

As is usually the case when I make thank you cards, I omitted a sentiment on the inside panel, opting instead to stamp another of the dandelion images in a combination of Coastal Cabana and Gorgeous Grape ink.

For full instructions and the dimensions for this card be sure to visit my Facebook page tomorrow afternoon.  In the meantime, hop on over to Sandy's blog to see what she has up her sleeve!

Just a reminder that the Retiring Products List posts today...all retiring products are available only while supplies last! Don't wait to order those must-have items or you may be disappointed! You can view all of the retiring products HERE.

Have a great week!
