Now, at first glance this suite may appear to be kid-focused, but I'm here to tell you it is perfect for just about anyone. I mean seriously, who wouldn't love to receive this fun card in the mail??
I challenged myself to use several different patterns from the Designer Paper pack...I love how well they all work together. My adorable little gift-bearing snail is stamped in Basic Gray ink and then coloured with Light Flirty Flamingo, Light Bermuda Bay, Light Real Red, Dark Daffodil Delight and Dark Pool Party Stampin' Blends. I used the coordinating Snail Dies to cut him out and then popped him up on a die-cut postage stamp from the same die set.

To stamp my sentiment, I used Real Red and Bermuda Bay Stampin' Write markers so that I could highlight the word SNAILED...I love puns! I added some white baker's twine and itty bitty resin hearts to embellish and step up the cuteness factor just a little.

On the inside, I added a Basic White card stock panel and adhered some adorable little snail friends that I fussy-cut from the DSP. So, so cute!!

I demonstrated this card and two others using this suite in my weekly live video over on my Facebook Business page. You can catch the replay, posted on my YouTube channel, below:

Lots of Hearts

Happy Tuesday! I hope you are having a good week.

This week I am all about the hearts...Lots of Hearts!

Check out this bright and cheerful card...

How could anyone's day not be brightened by receiving a happy card like this?

I began with a piece of Oh So Ombre DSP as my background panel and stamped some of the small heart image from the Lots of Hearts stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink. Then I did some tone-on-tone stamping on Gorgeous Grape, Magenta Madness and Bermuda Bay card stock, using inks in the same shade. I love the rich colour that results! I die-cut each of the stamped hearts using the Many Hearts dies. The sentiment is stamped on white card stock and die-cut using one of the labels from the Potted Succulents dies. Here is a closer look...

I embellished with some Playful Pets twine, a Heart Charm and some little Resin Hearts...so much pattern and texture!
On the inside I added a white panel on which I stamped another sentiment from the Lots of Hearts stamp set and another little Bermuda Bay heart, stamped off once.

I demonstrated this fun card, along with two others using this bundle, in  the video below:

Measurements:
4-1/4" x 11" Gorgeous Grape card stock, scored at 5-1/2"
4" x 5-1/4" Oh So Ombre Designer Paper
Scrap white, Gorgeous Grape, Bermuda Bay and Magenta Madness card stock for die-cutting
16" Playful Pets Twine

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a spectacular week!

Always & Forever and a Blog Hop

Happy Friday! Are you as thankful it is the weekend as I am? These weeks of online teaching are exhausting...I am SO ready for a break from all that screen time I've been logging!

Today is the 15th of the month, which means it is time for another Stamping Symphony Blog Hop!

This month we are all about new products from the January - June Mini Catalogue and Sale-a-bration. Check out this card that uses products from both...

masking technique

This pretty card is made so quick and easy by the Oh So Ombre DSP, which is free with a $60 order during Sale-a-bration. I stamped the floral images from the Forever & Always stamp set in Basic Grey ink several times on the DSP panel. I used a post-it-note mask to cover the images I wanted to layer...I love the way the use of a mask creates instant depth and perspective on a design!
I stamped the "Forever &" sentiment in Basic Grey as well and then, on a scrap of Whisper White card stock, I stamped the "Always" using Rococo Rose ink. I used the coordinating Always Dies to die but the stamped work and then popped it up on the stamped DSP panel. I added a little spatter of Champagne Mist shimmer paint for some texture and sparkle.

masking technique

How yummy is that ribbon?? It is the new Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon and it is utterly gorgeous! All it took was a little scrap to add instant sparkle and shine to my card. Those little gold sprigs are trimmed from one of the sheets in the Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty paper pack. Such an easy way to create a DIY gold embellishment. Of course, I had to add a little bling with some gold Gilded Gems.

masking technique

On the inside of my Rococo Rose card base, I added a Whisper White panel on which I stamped more of the floral images from the Forever & Always stamp set in Basic Grey ink. I omitted a sentiment for now, as this card could work work a wedding, anniversary or even Valentine's Day. By leaving my options open, I can always add a stamped sentiment when the right occasion arises.

For a demonstration on how I made this card, and for some tips on the masking technique, check out the video below...
