12 Days of Christmas in July Day 4

Happy Sunday...I hope today finds you feeling blessed. The heat wave continues, both here in Manassas and at home in Cambridge. I'll be making the long trek home today, so please say a quick prayer for travelling mercies for me! While I'm on the road I have another Christmas project to share with you...

This one is a shaker card! How fun would it be to receive this in the mail this December? I used the Wondrous Wreath stamp set with Cucumber Crush and Garden Green ink. I think that may just be one of my favourite new combinations...they work beautifully together. I used the Wonderful Wreath framelits to cut out the centre of the wreath to create my window for the shaker. I used a little square of Fabulous Foil acetate to cover the window, rimmed it with Foam Adhesive strips, dropped in some gold, silver and green sequins and then sealed the window with a small piece of Whisper White card stock. Those adhesive strips make creating shaker cards a breeze!

The stamped sentiment is from the Holly Jolly Greetings set and is stamped in Garden Green ink. I added the die-cut Joy using Gold foil sheets and the Wonderful Wreath Framelits.  The only embellishments on this one are the little bow, made with 1/4" gold natural trim, and a little gold metallic enamel star. The card is built on a Real Red card base.

On the inside I added a Whisper White panel on which I stamped the wreath again using the same combination of inks and added the sentiment from the Wondrous Wreath set, stamped in Cucumber Crush ink.

Have a blessed Sunday...and stay cool!

A Fall Holiday Catalogue Preview and new Tutorial Video

Welcome to the day-before-the-day-before-the-weekend! I hope you're having a good week...Friday is just around the corner!
Today I have a couple of projects that showcase one of my favourite techniques as well as some new products from the upcoming Holiday Catalogue.

Any-occasion card featuring the For All Things stamp set with sentiment from Acorny Thank You (available September 1st in the Holiday Catalogue)
Can you spot the new products on this one?  I used a new TIEF to emboss the background.  It is called Woodland and it is STUNNING!  This is quickly become my new favourite, as it is super-versatile.

The focal image is done using the Emerging Colours technique.  I love the vibrant fall colours that result. Check out the video below for more information on how I created this card.

Fall-themed card featuring the new Happy Scenes and Cheer All Year stamp sets, both of which are available Sept. 1st in the Holiday Catalogue.

Don't you just love that background panel?  Wouldn't you love to learn how to do that?  Well today's your lucky day!  I have a new tutorial video for you that shows you exactly how to recreate this look. Check it out below and if you enjoy it please share it!

Now before I go I have some BIG news for you!  The Clearance Rack in my online store has been updated!  There are some fresh new bargains for you to shop, but remember quantities are limited and once they're gone, they're gone!

Here is a list of all of the products used to create the projects I've featured today.  Keep in mind this list does not include Holiday Catalogue products that will be released on Septemeber 1st.
