Making Spirits Bright

Happy Friday!! Wahoo! We made it to the weekend after our first 5-day week at school. Before I get to today's project I thought I'd remind you that the final group of products for the Special Offers promotion is now available. If you love Project Life as much as I do, you'll LOVE these deals!

Now, this weekend I'm going to be all about prepping for my upcoming Christmas card buffet, so I thought I'd show you one of the projects that will be available:

Here I combined a couple of stamp sets from the new Holiday Catalogue with some new DSP and an embossing folder from the Annual Catalogue. I love it when I can pull together multiple products and they work well on a project. The Mint Macaron background layer is embossed using the Holly TIEF and adhered to a card base in Emerald Envy card stock. The DSP is from the Presents and Pinecones pack and is layered on a piece of Emeral Envy card stock.

The sleigh image is from the Santa's Sleigh stamp set and is stamped in Basic Gray ink. I die-cut it using the coordinating Santa's Sleigh thinlits. The wreath is heat embossed in silver on Emerald Envy card stock and also die-cut using the Santa's Sleigh thinlits. The sentiment, from the Tin of Tags stamp set, is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink and die-cut using the Layering Circles framelits. I layered that on a silver foil scalloped circle, also die-cut using the Layered Circles framelits. The only embellishments are some silver metallic thread and some Cherry Cobbler baker's twine.

On the inside I added a Whisper White panel on which I stamped a sentiment from the Santa's Sleigh stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink and the wreath in Mint Macaron. I added a little stamped bow in Cherry Cobbler.

I really am loving the Santa's Sleigh bundle...stay tuned for more projects featuring this awesome set of products.  In the meantime, have a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend!
