My Kind of Fantastic

Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a good week. Mine has been filled with grading papers and marking exams...ugh! Doesn't leave much room for creativity :( I do have a cute Valentine's card to share with you though...

This card was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest by thepaperpixie.com. I love the collage of hearts created with both stamped images and die-cuts. I used the Sure Do Love You stamp set, Painted Love DSP and gold glimmer paper for my hearts. The die-cuts were done with the Lots to Love Box and Sweet and Sassy Framelits, making this card super-quick to put together.  Here's a closer look at the collage...

See those cool gold brush strokes and teeny golden hearts? Those are the Painted Love Vinyl Stickers and are such a fun and easy way to add texture and gold accents to projects. The die-cut "You" was cut from gold foil sheets using the Celebrate You Sale-a-bration thinlits. The sentiment is from one of the host sets in the Occasions Catalogue called Yay You! I had overlooked this awesome set at first but when I took a closer look I fell completely in love with it. So many fun sentiments and images!

On the inside of my card I added a Whisper White panel on which I stamped some hearts in Calypso Coral ink and the sentiment in Melon Mambo. I love this girly colour palette and can't wait to send this to brighten someone's day.
